"Tarasca" day outside the lab

Last Wednesday 3th June the PRB group spent a day out to rejoice what we call "día de la Tarasca": a typical celebration from Granada, which marks the beginning of the local fair. We moved to Maitena, in the village of Guejar-Sierra following the route of the old tram, which connected Granada and the heart of Sierra Nevada, now disappeared. Three brave components of the group managed to make a short although intense route climbing by cycling close to the river prior to enjoy the fabulous food of the zone. Wonderful day!!
